The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts gymnastics team placed fifth in an invite at Valders High School last week. The Ghosts had a score of 113.125 points and were about around three points away from finishing third in the event on Jan. 21.

Barry and Perkovich lead way for Papermakers wrestling

Blake Barry and Cameron Perkovich both earned wins for the Kimberly wrestling team last week. Barry had a first round win by fall in 1:22 over South Milwaukee’s Devon Talavera, while Perkovich won a quarterfinal match in a 4-2 decision over Homestead’s George Jones.

Carson Awe had 19 first half points as he helped the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts boys basketball team beat their area rivals on Jan. 17. The win was Kaukauna’s first win against Kimberly since Jordan McCabe wore a Ghosts uniform.
