The Little Chute Mustangs baseball team let another win slip away from them last week. The Mustangs gave up an early lead late as they took a 3-2 loss to Waupaca last week on the road.
The Kimberly Papermakers boys lacrosse team started conference play with a thriller last week against Neenah. The Papermakers trailed 8-5 in the match and had last second goals in two periods before John Hansen won the match with a goal in double overtime.
Tennessee commit Sawyer Deering was both a factor at the plate and on the mound last week for the Kimberly Papermakers baseball team. The senior hit a home run and struck out seven on the mound in Kimberly’s conference opening win over Neenah at home.
Lily Boyle found her groove at the plate last week for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts softball team. Boyle had 14 hits last week as the Ghosts improved their record to 5-0 on the season.
The Little Chute boys track and field team took first at the Gary Reybrock invite last week. The boys had 120.5 points, while the girls took second with 127 points.
