For head coach Chad Mix, the expectations remain the same as he hopes that his Kimberly softball squad can be near the top once again in the FVA this spring. He also adds that they are always looking to get better and overachieve as a team.
Dominic Fletcher had the top finish for the Little Chute track and field team last week. The senior won the 400 meter dash with a finish of 53.7 seconds.
The boys team tied with Kaukauna with 42 points for fifth, while the girls took ninth with 24 points.
Madison Krueger and Hunter Sprangers highlighted Kimberly’s indoor meet in Ripon last week. Krueger won the 400 meter dash, while Sprangers won the shot put as the both teams took second with 75 points.
Led by standouts Ashley Wilson and Sami Miller on the girls side and Hayden Carroll on the boys side, the Little Chute Mustangs track and field teams are looking for another conference championship year again this year.
