OSHKOSH – Oshkosh West slowed down the prolific Kaukauna offense by taking it’s time when they had the ball but still could not beat the Galloping Ghosts, who took a 61-44 win back to Kaukauna on Friday night.
Little Chute senior Jordan Pynenberg is sectional bound after taking second in the 285 lbs bracket of the Denmark regional as he is one of three Mustangs wrestlers headed to the sectional meet this week.
Addison Banaszynski and Savanna Robinson had some shining moments last week for the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts girls basketball team. Banaszynski had the game winning layup against Marshfield, while Robinson was a key scorer throughout last week’s action for the Ghosts.

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts wrestling had first place finishers as they advanced their entire team to the finals of their home regional last weekend. The Ghosts took first as a team with 320.5 points as they advanced to team sectionals this week.
First place in the conference against last place in the conference led to a predictable result on Friday when Kaukauna, the Fox Valley Association leader, beat Appleton West 91-45.
