Nehemiah Lendobeja headlined the Kaukauna wrestling finishes at last weekend’s Eau Claire Husky invite. The 285 pounder took first as he improved his season record to 14-0 on the season, while the Ghosts took second at the invite for third year in a row.

Kimberly took down Whitnall on Saturday in a back and forth game that came down to a last second three that would have tied the game but it was no good. Kimberly got their first win of the season with a score of 63-60 after an 0-3 start to the year.

Nolan Jakubek had a night for the Little Chute Mustangs boys basketball team as they earned an important win over last year’s conference champ in Fox Valley Lutheran. The senior scored 29 points in the 58-52 win.

Kimberly alum Seth Miron and the UW-Stevens Point Pointers remained undefeated last week after they upset No. 1 Trine at home at the Quandt Fieldhouse. The former Papermaker scored the first five points in the 65-62 win before finishing with eight points in the game.
