Kimberly’s Elie Volheim and Little Chute’s Ben Toeppler shined under the lights at last week’s Nightfall Classic at Wingaamie. Volheim and Toeppler both had top 10 finishes for their teams in the meet.
The Kimberly Papermakers boys soccer team dished in two shutouts last week in conference play with a 3-0 win over Appleton North and a 4-0 win over Fond du Lac.
Kimberly Boys volleyball head coach Matt Seidl reached a coaching milestone last week. The coach now sits at 300 wins in his coaching career after their win over Neenah last week.
A week after setting a state record with a 91-yard punt, Kimberly’s Maddux Hermus was at it again in their 49-21 home win over Fond du Lac. The junior ran for 108 yards on only nine carries as the Papermakers ran for 221 yards in the win.

FREEDOM – Little Chute’s defense held their ground last week as they took home the County Road N sign for the first time since 2022. The program also grabbed their first road win in the series since 2012 with their 17-7 win against Freedom last Friday.
Reece Joten made his impact on offense and defense last week as he scored three touchdowns and grabbed an interception on defense in Little Chute’s 42-0 home win over Waupaca.
Reese Fauske helped Kaukauna’s girls cross country team earn an 11th place finish at the Leighton Betz invite in West Allis last week. The senior ran an eighth place time of 19:28.2 as the Ghosts had 256 points on the girls side in the meet.
