The Kimberly Papermakers softball team will be definitely tested heading into the playoffs as they played the top two teams in the state last week. The team lost an 11-1 game against conference rival Kaukauna before losing a close on to Kenosha Bradford in a weekend tournament.

The Kimberly track teams headed into this week’s conference meet on a high note after last week’s win in a home conference triangular at Papermaker Stadium. The girls finished with 97 points in the meet, while the boys had 81 points.

The Little Chute boys track and field team notched another conference championship last week. The boys scored 157 points and were 14.6 points ahead of second place Freedom, while the girls team won with 161.5 points in the NEC meet at Luxemburg-Casco.

Kimberly girls track wins DeMerit invite in Bay Port, while Kaukauna girls take second

The Kimberly girls track and field team earned a win in the DeMerit Invite in Bay Port last week. The Papermakers scored 115.75 points, while Kaukauna scored 109.25. Kaukauna’s boys team took third with 90 points, while Kimberly’s boys team took seventh with 75.

The Little Chute Mustangs track and field team had a solid trio post multiple top three finishes in their conference pentangular in Freedom last week. Zuzanna Mosienska, Owen Butkovich and Griffin Vanden Heuvel all had multiple finishes in the top three in the meet.
