Karly Meredith pitches in Kaukauna’s sectional final win over Ashwaubenon.

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts softball team road the dominant pitching of Karly Meredith and took advantage of miscues from the Ashwaubenon Jaguars to earn their fourth consecutive trip back to Madison last week.
Tyler Jezeski and Kyle Kress helped lead the way for Kaukauna’s offense last week, while the team continues to get big pitching from Bron Schaefer as they head into the WIAA playoffs this week.
Little Chute will have four relay teams at this weekend’s state meet in La Crosse. They will be sending two girls relay teams and two boys relay teams after they placed at the Freedom sectional last Thursday.
Kathryn Van Handel had a big first round playoff performance last week for the Kimberly softball team. The senior had three hits and five RBIs in their 12-2 home regional win over Appleton East.
The Kimberly boys golf team made history as they won their first ever Division 1 sectional last week at the Fox Valley Golf Club. The Papermakers edged out West De Pere by seven strokes as they won the regional with a 310 score.
