Emily McCarthy started the Kimberly girls soccer season on a good note as she scored the first hat trick of the season for the team. McCarthy scored two of her three goals in the first half as Kimberly earned a 7-1 win over Verona before falling to Waunakee last Saturday.

Zwiers takes first in Denmark golf meet

Senior Jacob Zwiers took first last week for the Little Chute golf team as they tied with Wrightstown in a conference meet at Twin Oaks Golf Course. Zwiers had a score of 76 in the meet as the Mustangs tied with Wrightstown with 357 strokes.

Vanden Burgt pitches one hitter for Little Chute Mustangs

Little Chute senior pitcher Charlie Vanden Burgt started the Mustangs baseball season on a big note. The senior took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before giving up a one out double as he struck out 10 in a 10-0 win over Waupaca at Capital Credit Union Park last weekend.
