Kimberly’s Jenna Schumacher followed up her third place conference finish with the best score at the regional meet last week at Butte Des Morts Country Club. Schumacher posted a 75, while Kaukauna’s McKenna Lowe had the second best score with a 78.
FREEDOM – After a 4-0 start to the season, Little Chute suffered its third consecutive double-digit loss and a chance to take back the County N sign trophy when it lost 27-6 to Freedom last Thursday night.
Little Chute’s Ashley Wilson is officially a school record holder as she broke the cross country record last week. Wilson broke Lindsey Grams’ record time of 19:05 with a fourth place run of 19:00.5 in the Red Raider invite last Thursday.

The Kimberly Papermakers kept the Neenah Rockets from crashing their homecoming party last week. The Papermakers used two second half touchdowns to seal the deal as they handed Neenah a 21-0 loss Friday at Papermakers Stadium.
The Kimberly boys volleyball team dominated their rivalry matchup last week against Kaukauna. The Papermakers won the first two sets decisively before sweeping their rivals at home (25-14, 25-14, 25-21).
The goalkeepers for both Kimberly and Kaukauna made sure that last week’s matchup added to the school’s rivalry. Kimberly goalkeeper Noah Sommer and Kaukauna goalkeeper William Murray combined for 14 saves in Kimberly’s 1-0 win last week.
OSHKOSH – Facing an Oshkosh North team that had been outscored 119-7 in its last three games, Kimberly did what it needed to do Friday night at Titan Stadium.
Another career milestone was accomplished last week for Kaukauna junior Madison Tripp. Tripp notched her 2,000th assist last week during a tournament in Monona Grove.
The Kimberly volleyball team earned two wins during a weekend tournament last week. The Papermakers beat both Kettle Moraine Lutheran and West Bend West.
