Little Chute wrestling coach Tyler Oslund was proud of his team’s effort last week. The Mustangs earned two wins in a home conference triangular against Wrightstown and Clintonville, while Layton McMahon earned a second place finish at the Herb Tyler invite in Sheboygan.
The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts wrestling team came back from an early deficit to secure the grip on the FVA title. In their 47-19 win over Hortonville, the Ghosts came back to secure the victory after losing their first three matches against the previously unbeatenb Polar Bears.
Haylie Dulas and Ava Van Vonderen continued to show their scoring skills for the Kimberly girls basketball team last week as they both scored in double figures in their home win over Hartford.
Little Chute freshman Lauren Vosters had the most iconic moment of the Mustangs girls basketball season last week. With the game tied, the freshman grabbed the rebound and banked in a game winner to give Little Chute a 41-38 home win over Oconto Falls.
Cooper Effa and Trevor Verhagen both had 20-point performances, while Jaden Hermsen had 11 points and Jack Schultz had 12 rebounds as Little Chute’s boys basketball team had a 64-50 road win over Oconto Falls last week.
LA CROSSE – The trip to the Midwest Players Classic was not kind to the Kaukauna boys basketball team, with the Galloping Ghosts suffering their first loss of the season, 69-53, to Marshfield.
