Kimberly track takes first, Kaukauna takes second at FVA championship meet

The Kimberly boys and girls track and field teams both took home the conference championship hardware this season. Both teams took first in the FVA conference championship track meet at Appleton West last week as the boys scored 176 points and the girls scored 144 points.

Larissa Likes played a key role for Kaukauna in their 1-0 loss to Appleton East last week. The sophomore goal keeper had 14 saves against the Patriots, while Kaylin Wegand had a goal attempt in the first half of the match.

The Kaukauna girls track and field team racked up the first place finishes last week. The Ghosts had 10 individual first place finishes, while their relay teams all took first during a conference quad at Neenah High School.
