After being a bit underwhelmed after playing a weekend tournament, first year head coach Carter Belling thought his team came out with better energy during their home win over Appleton East.
The Kaukauna Gallopin Ghosts girls golf team took first last week at the Sheboygan North co-op invite at Town and Country Golf Course. The Ghosts had 383 strokes in the meet as junior Clara Schomin took third with 87 strokes.
Kimberly’s Elie Volheim and Little Chute’s Ben Toeppler shined under the lights at last week’s Nightfall Classic at Wingaamie. Volheim and Toeppler both had top 10 finishes for their teams in the meet.
The Kimberly Papermakers boys soccer team dished in two shutouts last week in conference play with a 3-0 win over Appleton North and a 4-0 win over Fond du Lac.
Kimberly Boys volleyball head coach Matt Seidl reached a coaching milestone last week. The coach now sits at 300 wins in his coaching career after their win over Neenah last week.
A week after setting a state record with a 91-yard punt, Kimberly’s Maddux Hermus was at it again in their 49-21 home win over Fond du Lac. The junior ran for 108 yards on only nine carries as the Papermakers ran for 221 yards in the win.
