Kimberly DECA students attend state career development conference

Kaukauna school board approves shortening school year for elementary students


Brian Roebke photo — Because COVID-19 numbers have gone down to very low levels, Kaukauna School Superintendent Mark Duerwaechter will no longer present the return to school update at board of educaiton meetings. Last week, the district had with just two students and one staff case of COVID-19 out of 4,492 students and staff.
Elementary students in Kaukauna will have their last day of school on May 27 as opposed to June 2 after a request was approved last week by the Kaukauna Area School District Board of Education.

The National Association of Counties announced the winners of the organization’s national art competition. Sponsored by Americans for the Arts, the “I Love My County Because….” art contest was open to K-12 students nationwide.

Little Chute School Board approves student trip to Costa Rica

A student trip to Costa Rica to study in a hands and exploratory manner the relationship between humans and nature and the biodiversity of the tropical rain forest during July 2023 was approved by the Little Chute School Board last week.
