Kaukauna school board approves Sources of Strength program

The Kaukauna Area School District’s board of education approved a Sources of Strength program for the coming school year at Kaukauna High School at its June 14 meeting.

Kaukauna High School has selected 12 students as students of the month for May of the 2020-21 school year. Students are selected by a staff member in each department in the school.

Peerenboom receives Tavern League scholarship

The Outagamie County Tavern League awarded its first scholarship this year to Lillian Peerenboom.
In the past the league gave money to Fox Valley Technical College to distribute, but this year they added another scholarship, with the funds directly to the recipient, Lillian Peerenboom of Kimberly High School.

LCASD begins process to replace sod with turf at stadium

The Little Chute School District Board last week agreed to partner with a fundraising group to raise funds for the $1.2 million project to replace the sod on the football field with artificial turf and to upgrade the facility from strictly a football field to a multi-use field.

Kaukauna High School drumline performs at Lambeau Field

Kaukauna High School drumline members performed Thursday at Lambeau Field along with Appleton East, Ashwaubenon, and Bay Port high schools as part of the New North Drum Line Competition, held in conjunction with the New North Summit at Lambeau Field.
