The Kaukauna Area School District’s board of education has approved administration’s staffing proposal for the 2023-24 school year that sees a net reduction in certified staff of 2.168 full-time equivalent certified staff positions.
The Little Chute School Board approved the recommendation from the extracurricular committee to add a middle school track and field coach position and stipend to the 2023-24 school year.

Kaukauna’s oldest school celebrates 125 years of education with an open house tomorrow from 5-7 p.m.
Little Chute High School DECA students received permission to attend the DECA International Career Development Conference April 22-25 in Orlando, Fla., at last week’s Little Chute School Board meeting.
The Kimberly School Board was presented with an update on the Gifted and Talented/PACE program at last week’s meeting. The program presented enhancements that included a spelling bee, a noetic math program, math exemplars, and a creativity lab.
For years, many students graduated from high school without a plan for employment, but that’s been changing. The Kaukauna Area School District’s board of education learned about the district’s Academic and Career Planning and Education for Employment Plan at last week’s meeting.
The Little Chute School Board approved Miron Construction as the construction manager and gave permission to move forward with the bidding process on remodeling the administrative area of the Little Chute Elementary School.
The Kimberly school board was presented with the results of their life skills survey at last week’s meeting. The survey had 2,126 respondents and had a 35 percent response rate.
