Carter Erdmann and Ethan Wisniewski helped the Kimberly Cougars Legion baseball team stay undefeated last week. Erdmann had three hits, while Wisniewski had two hits in the second game of a double header against Oshkosh last week.
It was a big week for Little Chute’s Charlie Vanden Burgt as the team earned two wins in Legion baseball play last week. Vanden Burgt collected seven hits in two games against Mishicot and Fond du Lac.
The Kaukauna Angels used a late comeback to earn a split against Plover last week. The Angels scored four runs in the final inning to get a 5-3 win on the road.
Despite being a multisport athlete, Jimmy Slowey has always been a baseball guy at heart. Slowey plays both football and baseball at Kimberly High School.

Max Hietpas had a big performance for the Kaukauna Legion baseball team last week. He struck out eight in six innings of work in Kaukauna’s 5-0 win over Kewaunee last Sunday.
