Common Council honors veteran police officer Bartalozzi for 25 years of service

Kaukauna Police Lt. Tom Bartalozzi had just a few brief words following his recognition for 25 years of work for the community.
“It’s gone really fast,” he said prior to a round of applause from appreciative friends, colleagues and city officials at the June 15 Kaukauna Common Council meeting.

Nelson Crossing now open following gala ceremony

What at one time may have seemed like a goofy idea turned into a wonderful reality when the Nelson Family Heritage Crossing opened Friday with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the foot of the bridge in Little Chute at a minimal cost to taxpayers.

Piggly Wiggly donation to Make-A-Wish Wisconsin tops $71,000

In lieu of holding the annual Pig-to-Pig Walk the last two years because of the coronavirus pandemic, StoneRidge Piggly Wiggly stores held a Round Up for Wishes program where customers could “round up” their purchase totals to the next dollar, with the extra cents going to the fund.

Sunday at the Amphitheater celebrating 24 years of music in Sunset Park

The Sunday at the Amphitheater concert series returns this summer, celebrating 24 years of music in Sunset Park in Kimberly.
All free concerts are held from 6:30-8 p.m. at the amphitheater in the upper part of the park.
