The Kaukauna Ghosts made quick work of Eau Claire North on Friday night, taking a 42-11 lead at halftime and finishing the game with a 86-57 score on the scoreboard in a WIAA Division 1 regional semifinal game.
The Kaukauna Ghosts earned their fourth straight Division 1 Sweet 16 berth with a 65-58 WIAA Regional championship victory over Stevens Point Area Senior High on Saturday at KHS.

APPLETON — The Kimberly Papermakers girls basketball team saw their quest toward a second straight state title fall short last week as they suffered a 54-48 loss at the hands of the Notre Dame Academy Tritons.
Kimberly alum and Biathlon Olympian Paul Schommer is appreciative of his two Olympic appearances. The former Kimberly cross country and track runner recently helped the USA biathlon team take fifth place at the Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy.
Little Chute senior Benacee Jacker gave it his all in his final wrestling tournament for the Mustangs wrestling team. The senior got a win during the WIAA Division 2 state tournament at the Kohl Center last week.
Kimberly alum Karsen Otis is NCAA tournament bound after a regional title at 157 lbs. in the regional in Eau Claire last week. Otis had two tech falls and had an overtime win as he pushed his record to 28-6 on the season.
OSHKOSH – In a game atypical of most Kaukauna versus Oshkosh North games, the Ghosts built leads of 17 and 16 points, North scored 13 straight, and Kaukauna hit some shots at the end of the game to overcome a brief deficit, beating the Spartans 71-70.
