Little Chute Legion team heading into playoffs ranked

Drew Joten played a big part this week for Little Chute Legion Baseball, while the team also grabbed honors as one of the best Legion teams in the state this summer. Joten had six hits this week and struck out 11 in a victory as the Mustangs head into the playoffs this week.

After an All-Star game appearance last week, Jordan Van Kauwenberg added some more offense for the Kaukauna Angels baseball team despite a rough loss. Van Kauwenberg provided Kau-kauna’s lone run on a single to left in the third inning of an 11-1 loss against Oshkosh on July 13.

Kaukauna graduate Alyssa Kaufman is rising up the college volleyball coaching ranks. After three seasons, Kaufman has been elevated to the associate head coach with Fordham volleyball.
