Logan Salzmann continued to battle it out with Kaukauna’s Aaron Schimke in another race. Just like the conference race, Salzmann finished right behind Schimke again as he took fourth in the sectional run in Manitowoc with a time of 15:49.40.
Kimberly grad and UW-Oshkosh junior running back D.J. Stewart provided a big punch for the Titans football team on Saturday. He took a fourth quarter kickoff to the house to give UW-Oshkosh a 19-14 win over UW-Stout at Titans stadium.
Robert Momberg made his mark on the playoff run for the Kaukauna Ghosts boys soccer team. Momberg scored twice in the team’s regional win over West Bend West on the road last week.

McKenna Lowe and Aaron Schimke highlighted the conference meet for Kaukauna last week at Countryside Golf Course in Kaukauna. The two both had first place finishes for the Ghosts during the Oct. 13 meet.
Julia Gurholt has more to build off of for next season for the Kimberly Papermakers girls tennis team. The sophomore made it to the second round of the state tournament in No. 1 singles last week in Madison.
