Norah Berken put up solid numbers last week for the Kaukauna golf team. Berken posted a career high in the Fond du Lac invite at Rolling Meadows on Sept. 10. 
“She’s gaining confidence,” Kaukauna coach Pete Benson said of Berken’s performances last week.

Papermakers fight back in battle against Appleton North

The Kimberly Papermakers girl’s volleyball team showed that they had no quit against Appleton North last week. The Papermakers fought back from two sets down to earn a hard fought five set win over the Lighting (22-25, 20-25, 25-23, 28-26, 15-11).

Little Chute seniors provide leadership with new academy

Seniors at Little Chute High School will get to hone in their leadership skills with the newly formed Lari DeBruin Leadership Academy. The academy which was started by alum Jeff Janssen as a way to give back to his high school and was named after his former coach Lari DeBruin.

Schumacher leads the way for Kimberly golf

Jenna Schumacher still is a key leader for the Kimberly golf team. Schumacher had a 41 as the Papermakers fell to their area rival Kaukauna 175-184 on the High Cliff Golf Course last week.
