Senior running back Noah Hofmann had his third consecutive outstanding game, leading the No. 6-seeded Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts (8-4) to a 41-13 victory in Level 3 at No. 5-seeded Homestead (7-5) in a WIAA Division 2 matchup in the rain on Friday night.

After a solid high school volleyball career, Little Chute’s Maya Wegand is taking her talents to the next level. Last week, the senior signed her letter of intent to play at Division 2 Wayne State during a ceremony at the school.
Kimberly’s running game and defense showed up on Friday night as the team hopes at another appearance in Madison. Blake Barry ran for 186 yards and three touchdowns, while the Papermakers defense had five sacks in a 31-16 road playoff win over Waunakee.
Kimberly baseball player Evan Olson is taking his talents from one storied athletic program to another. Olson committed to Division 3 powerhouse UW-Whitewater last month.
The Kimberly football team headlined the school’s first team All-Conference honors this fall. The Papermakers had eight first team football honors, and also had three students named first team All-FVA in volleyball this season.
Hunter Thiel, Drew Joten and Jack Verstegen represented the Little Chute Mustangs on both sides of the ball on the All-Conference teams that were named last week. The Mustangs football team had seven first team honorees this season.
McKenna Lowe and Noah Hofmann headlined Kaukauna’s All-Conference honors this year. Hofmann garnered All-FVA honors as a running back and return specialist, while Lowe took first team honors in both golf and cross country.
Kimberly grad and UW-Oshkosh senior Levi Borchert was named to the D3Hoops.com preseason All-American team last week. The senior was one of two WIAC representatives on the All-American team.
