The Little Chute Mustangs wrestling team took fourth last weekend in an invite at Brillion High School. The Mustangs had a team score of 152.5, which was 27 points behind third place finisher Brillion.

Kimberly’s Jenna Schumacher is headed to Division 2’s Concordia St. Paul next fall to play golf. The senior, who tied for 10th at this year’s sectional is proud of her decision on where to take her college game.

Kaukauna streaks past Appleton East with 24-point second half run

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts trailed Appleton East 35-31 with 12 minutes left in the game Friday night in Appleton but scored 24 consecutive points to take control of the game and beat the Patriots 63-43 in a Fox Valley Association boys basketball game.

Kimberly senior Tanner Hart was the high mark of the team’s 16th place finish in the Duals in the Dells last weekend. The senior went 5-0 in the 157 pound weight class with three pins during the tournament.

The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts wrestling team took second last weekend during the Husky Invite held at Eau Claire North High School. The Ghosts scored 507 points and were only behind Minnesota’s Simley High School, who scored 547.5 points in the invite.

McGinnis continues to put up the points for Kimberly

Kate McGinnis continues to be the leader on the court for the Papermakers girls basketball program. The junior had 43 points and 16 rebounds in the team’s two wins over Hortonville and De Pere last week.
