Keegan Van Kauwenberg had one of his best games ever in his Kaukauna basketball career last week during the Baird/Gustman Shootout. The junior scored a double-double of a game high 39 points and 11 rebounds in the team’s 101-94 win against Mosinee.
The girls sports game broadcaster W7 Productions will broadcast all 10 Kaukauna girls basketball games this season. An agreement was made between the school and the leader in Wisconsin girls high school sports prior to this season.
Seniors on the Little Chute boys basketball team are making an impact early in the season. Little Chute seniors Tyler Fischer and Grant Hermus have provided the scoring touch to start the season for the Mustangs.
Tanner Hart and Sadie Campbell are looking at following up impressive seasons a year ago. Both made it to the state tournament last season for the Kimberly Papermakers wrestling programs.
Addison Baumgart showed her scoring touch last week for the Kaukauna girls basketball team. The junior had double digit performances in both of the team’s games last week.
The Kimberly boys basketball team used two double digit runs to help down their conference rivals in a new environment. The Papermakers used runs of 10 and 17 to get a win over Neenah on the road.
