The Kimberly and Kaukauna baseball rivalry continued with a split in Legion play at Bayorgeon Field last week. Dylan Lotzer and Kaden Kress had big at-bats in game one, while Kimberly got three hit efforts from Benny Kieffer and Connor Olson in game two.
Trevor Verhagen had a good day on the mound for Little Chute last week in their rivalry matchup with Wrightstown. Verhagen pitched six innings on the mound and kept the Rockets silent for most of the game.
Little Chute’s Trevor Verhagen is the definition of a multisport athlete for the Mustangs. The upcoming senior is a three sport athlete in football, baseball and basketball at the school.
Carter Erdmann and Benny Kieffer are keeping their baseball dreams alive. Both made an impact last week in Kimberly’s Legion action at an invite in Stevens Point.
With his dad as the varsity baseball coach, Brayden Jenkins has made an impact this last year with Kaukauna baseball. Jenkins was called up to the varsity roster this past spring and was one of the younger players to make impact during the high school season.
Harper West had the dominate outing last week for the Kimberly Legion baseball team. West struck out five in their 2-0 win during the Marinette tournament.
